OMO NATIONAL PARK

Located in the Omo valley which is more or less free of human habitation, the Omo national park which covers more than 4,000 square kilometers has attracted tourists from all over the world since its establishment. One of the very few surviving wildernesses in the world, there is so much to see and admire within the park's boundaries:volcanic rocks, savanah grass lands, thick forests, rivers... are among the features that make the Omo national park in terms of diversity.

With regards to wildlife, the Omo national park is one of the richest in Ethiopia. Zebra, girafes, lions, elephants and buffalos are just among the few animals that are found in the park.
